Hiding beneath the surface of your qualitative research sessions is a world of data and meaning to explore. As UX professionals, we invest significant resources to get the most from our qualitative data, spending time intently listening to what users say and observing and analyzing how they interact with stimuli. Many of us, however, pay little or no attention to how participants give feedback and what their body language says about their true feelings.
This interactive half day workshop will teach you awareness of your own body language and vocal tone and dig deep into how to read, understand, and react to what your participants are saying with their bodies and voices. This is a highly hands-on course, offering the opportunity to practice and read body language and vocal tone in a supportive environment. You’ll take away practical strategies for reading individual body language as well as group dynamics.
