UXPA International to donate to Direct Relief in Puerto Rico

Donation given in lieu of conference giveaways

Houston — May 22, 2018 — UXPA International announced today that in lieu of distributing conference ‘swag’ at the upcoming UXPA International 2018 Conference in June, a donation has been made to Direct Relief in support of their recovery work in Puerto Rico.

This year’s conference co-chairs, Sara Mastro and Daphne Puerto, thought aiding Puerto Rico further was more important then take home swag for its attendees this year.

Direct Relief was ranked as one of Charity Navigator’s 2018 Top-rated charities. Their work in Puerto Rico has included distributing medical essentials to facilities throughout the island to installing solar-energy in health centers and building community water pumping systems.

The 27^th Annual UXPA International Conference will be held at the Wyndham Rio Mar Resort in Rio Mar, Puerto Rico from June 26^th through June 28^th. The conference will bring together 400+ user experience professionals for learning, networking, and professional development opportunities.
