Virtual Reality is an emerging technology giving designers and developers more opportunities to explore in this space. It offers a multi-dimensional, visceral and participatory experience for its users. This brings interesting dimensions into the existing design paradigms currently defined for the two-dimensional user interfaces. The focus of the hands-on course is to share the design principles that contribute to this experience. Participants will understand the importance of spatial audio, head tracking, acceleration, cone of vision and several other design influencers by applying them in a design challenge. They will also make quick design prototypes that can be experienced through a VR headset.
