Scott Fricker has served as a researcher at the Bureau of Labor Statistics for more than 20 years, specializing in the empirical study of measurement error and nonresponse error in surveys and the usability of web interfaces.  He is the author or co-author of numerous publications in survey methods, and has taught classes in questionnaire design, data collection methods, and the social and cognitive foundations of survey measurement.

Scott holds a Ph.D. in survey methodology from the Joint Program in Survey Methodology (University of Maryland, University of Michigan) and a Masters in cognitive social psychology (University of California, Santa Barbara).
