Puja Parakh My name is Puja and I am a Seattle-based UX Manager, with previous experience as a Senior UX Designer and Product Manager. I currently work at Avvo, where I manage a team of content strategists, UX designers, and visual designers. I love keeping up-to-date on current user experience and design methodologies.
My background in user-centered design, including a Masters degree in Human-Centered Design and Engineering (HCDE) from the University of Washington, has led me to a career in product management and user experience that best utilizes my strengths with customer feedback, analytics, UX best practices, and competitive analysis to determine appropriate user/process flows that meet a market and customer need.
I have a proven track record of execution and delivery of digital interactions that combines lean practices with an engaging experience. I evangelize the need for user research to tell us what the data is saying, and user-centered design for best-in-class customer experiences. I pride myself on building collaborative relationships with teammates and key stakeholders to identify and develop the features and define the overall product mission.
In my day to day, I am passionate about bridging design and business goals, but I am also a huge fan of finding ways to bring people together to have fun, create relationships, and learn from each other. I am involved in the UX community and participate in local events, including speaking at university lectures and local meetups.
