Empathic design, or emotional design, refers to the user-centered approach that is cognizant of a client’s feelings towards a product or experience. This talk introduces core principles of empathic design, techniques to discover more about your users, and ways to implement metrics to drive product development with insights that resonate with your users. By analyzing the building blocks of emotional design and showcasing examples currently in production, this talk serves to demonstrate that being able to connect to our users not only drives innovation and establishes credibility, brand loyalty, and value, but also inspires users to be more passionate about your product.
