General Conference Questions

Q: Do I need to be a member to attend? No, we have member rates and non-member rates. However, we would love to have you join UXPA! Learn more here.

Q: What if I need to cancel my registration? Submit requests for cancellations and/or refunds to office@uxpa.org by 5:00 pm ET on Monday, May 21st, 2018. All refunds are subject to a $100 administrative fee. UXPA regrets that we cannot provide refunds AFTER MAY 21, 2018.

Q: Can I transfer my registration to someone else? All requests to transfer your registration must be received in writing from the original registrant at office@uxpa.org and must have the new registrant copied on the email. Substitutions are subject to a $50 administrative fee and may be made until 5:00 pm ET on Friday, June 22nd, 2018.

Q: What is the attire at the event? Business casual, or just casual.

Q: Will you be able to meet my dietary needs? We have vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options at all our buffet meals, but unfortunately we cannot accommodate every specific request.

Q: Does the conference serve dinner? We have a reception Tuesday evening, and one Thursday evening  – both with cocktails and heavy appetizers but no formal dinners are served.

Q: Do I need to pick which sessions I want ahead of time? No, each session is first come, first serve.

Q: Does the event have a Code of Conduct? We do, you can review it here.

Q: Are you still accepting speakers? Unfortunately our call for speakers closed in Oct. Please follow us on social media for updates on when the call for 2019 will open.

Q: Can I sign up for a course if I have already registered? Yes, please email office@uxpa.org and we can create a discount code to allow you to register at the package price for the course.

Q: Is there a discount for multiple people attending from the same organization? Yes, 10%. Please email office@uxpa.org and we can get you a custom code to use.

Q: How do you qualify for the student rate? You will need to be a student member of UXPA to use this rate.

Q: Is there a mobile app? Yes! We plan to launch it in March.

Q: Do I have to stay at the conference hotel? You do not, although the room rate we have is very competitive. Learn more here.

Q. How is Puerto Rico doing since the hurricane? They are slowly healing, with lots of help. FEMA has updates, as well as some sites for tourism.
